Packaging line with pick and place robot 
For a producer of automotive parts,
Verhoeven Oss has supplied a packaging with pick and place robot and pallet
buffer.
In close contact with the client, a much more efficient way of pallet formation and box transport has been developed. For bulk pallets, a by pass alongside of the robot has been implemented. When the buffer is filled up, an automatic loading system for trailers will take over the pallets and transport them to a warehouse. If wanted, the same system will bring them back.The empty box supply conveyor will convey the boxes, passing a filling station, an elevator and hand packing tables. After scanning, The robot picks the closed boxes and places them on pallets.

Between 4 different production lines, where
different trays and boxes are filled with consumer goods, a new transport
system concept has been developed. By means of roller conveyors, modular chain conveyors and accumulating
systems, products are lined up before palletising.
Using a number of dividers, products can
always be transported to the right palletiser.
The system has been designed in such a way,
that the products always can leave the production machines. This installation
is controlled by a automatic
Verhoeven Oss control system.
A mayor flower trader, ordered
an installation for e constant flow of boxes with flowers from the top floor to
the ground floor, where distribution trucks are loaded. Based on bar code
technique, the flow of boxes is split into predestined lines, matching with the
distribution trucks.
In close cooperation with a producer of
high alloy steel wire, Verhoeven has developed a cooling conveyor, equipped
with rollers. On top of these rollers, the read hot wire, is cooled down in a
controlled way, using cooling fans, linked to main control system.
At the end of the track, all wire is wound in coils, ready for shipment. In this project, the control of the temperatures , weights and dimensions of coils were excellent challenges to Verhoeven Oss.
